Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is an essential member of a Real Estate & Facilities Team responsible for providing quality/cost-effective facilities and sourcing functions for the Leiden office, ensuring adherence to all necessary Health and Safety legislation together with project and contract management and general supervision of reception.

Administrative Assistant Job can also involve some HR and Financial administration under the guidance of both the Office Head and the central HR and Finance functions.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Using best practices, write specifications, run tender processes, procure goods and services for Office.
  • Act as Labcorp Drug Development representative with managing agents and landlords of offices.
  • Supervised of Reception and Postal/courier services within the office – this may involve some actual reception/switchboard duties.
  • Assist finance in problem-solving of facilities invoices within the country.
  • Other duties per requirements.

Qualifications

  • Level of education required (or experience level which may be substituted for the level of education).
  • Professional designations/certifications/licenses required: “A” level standard or the equivalent in the respective region plus ability to communicate fluently in English and Dutch;

Additionally:

  • 6-month contract (with a possible extension)
  • part-time: 20h per week work (5 days a week 4h in the afternoon)
