Essential:

• Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
• 1- 2 years of working experience in a similar environment
• Efficient in polymeric, monomeric, and cast vinyl substrate and installations on all surfaces including vehicle wrap installations.
• Previous experience in relevant signage and printing industries preferred.

Advantageous

• Previous experience in mailroom logistics is beneficial.

Job Description:

• Pack marketing material neatly and professionally as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
• Confirm all packing as per management standards.
• Pack stock accurately and correctly into boxes.
• Cutting and sorting posters into the packing materials
• Work with the relevant Clerk`s to sort stock, in order to assist in the checking process.
• Sort and pack different posters and batches onto their own sheets, to facilitate printing posters.
• Identify any discrepancies occurring prior to the packing process such as damaged, or misspelled wrong labels, and report the issues accordingly.
• Ensure items that are shrink-wrapped have no wrinkles.
• Ability to identify various industry-standard media and substrates
• Working on various finishing machines including electronic guillotines, heat presses, SummaCut plotters, Fotoba X/Y cutters, glue binders, etc.
